Jasmine could see the dizziness in his eyes. She grabbed the nearest chair and slid it behind him, trying to urge him into it. "Here, sit before you fall." She quickly opened her first aid kit and glanced through it's contents. She took his arm, examining the wound. "It doesn't look too bad. No need for stitches as far as I can see. Some disinfectant and some bandages- you'll be right." She took the bottle of disinfectant from the kit and tipped the contents onto some cotton padding. "This may sting a little" She said, softly dabbing at the wound. Trying to be as gentle as possible, she cleaned the wound clear from the remaining blood, and wrapped his knuckles in some clean bandages. "How's that?" She asked as she finished.

Relief set into his eyes, he felt the sting -- which felt much like a pinch, a subtle sensation. As the cold disinfectant pounced into his skin, he felt a rather tingling sensation. The medical assistance from the Fitness Consultant was a turn-on for him, a contagious smile came abruptly.
"Well, aren't you great. You're a nurse too." he said quietly with a smirk in his face. He leaned towards her face, looking straight toward her eyes. Was it just tiredness or just complete infatuation? Xander could not understand his own feelings, but his spirits seemed to be drifting towards her.

Jasmine couldn't explain the warmth that flooded her cheeks as he smirked at her. As he leaned forward, her mind twisted and turned until she didn't know what she was thinking. Her stomach erupted with butterflies and she felt her teeth gnaw at her bottom lip. She didn't like this loss of total control. It was an interesting sensation, but the newness of it, when she was still so raw from awakening was unsettling.
She glanced away from him, determined to get control back. "I-I guess it was just a part of the training. In case of this sort of scenario." She mumbled, slowing easing real thoughts back into her mind. Wow! He had completely altered her mind and body. How comfortable was she with this new development? It wasn't entirely unpleasant though. It was very easy to get lost in his eyes. Was this how it was to communicate with everyone?

He pulled back. Realizing that he was displaying his emotions on his sleeve, he put control back into his head. He didn't want to be too forward, it was their first encounter after all. He wanted to know more about her, but he felt like it could be totally damaging professionally, they were supposed to facilitate the exceptional efforts in their professions, the thought of being something more than associates felt so inappropriate. Gripping with his fist, he pulled his body up in order to stand.
"Well, your training seems to have been well adjusted to these conditions, could be worse? Sometimes I just wonder if our programming could have been miscalculated... just like our ship." he spoke, trying to extinguish the tension.

Jasmine watched him pull himself into line. A small part of her was disappointed. But she knew that whatever had just happened, wasn't normal. Maybe a part of their training had been skipped when they crashed? After all, they'd still had quite a long leg of their journey to go. She felt herself dwarfed under his height- though he wasn't too much taller than herself.
"Well it's true. Anything could have happened. I feel like I'm missing some important element of my training. I mean, I know my job, but nothing else."

As he stood and and towered over Jasmine with his body, he stared right down at her eye level and replied, "well, we have each other, and I am actually okay with that."
He could not keep his eyes off her, Xander felt some sort of comfort as Jasmine talked, her voice melted in his ears, it creating a sudden burst of joy in his heart.

Jasmine felt his presence. She didn't have much experience in feeling anything really, but she felt him. She blushed scarlet and looked down at her feet as she felt his eyes on her again.
"Me too..." She mumbled, keeping her eyes carefully focused on her toes. Why was she being like this? She knew she wanted to be strong and confident, not shy and bright red. What was happening?

Hearing a ring on the ceiling speakers, EOS let out: "CALLING XANDER PENDLEBERRY, YOU ARE NEEDED IMMEDIATELY AT THE COLLECTION."
Xander looked up at the speaker, he didn't want to go just yet. He then noticed Jasmine looking down, with the site of her becoming somewhat distant.Xander felt rather unsure of what to do, he couldn't just leave, could he? Does he end their conversation with a handshake or a peck on her cheeks? What does a guy do in this situation?
"Well, well, what do we have there? Who would need me at this time and at this hour? Really Jasmine, who the heck needs me?" he said in frustration, "look, if you need me, just give me a call, kay?" he said. "Anyways, I owe you. Since, you know, you nursed me back to health."

Jasmine looked up at the announcement. She was disappointed that he had to leave. Why was she disappointed? She hadn't exactly been ecstatic when he had shown up. How confusing. She could feel his confusion as well. She was completely unaware of what to do, or say. She didn't like it.
She shook herself back to sense as he spoke. She straightened her shoulders a little and shook her head so her hair tumbled back, away from her face. She smiled at him- a dazzling, confident smile. She didn't want him to see her confusion. "It was no trouble at all. The next time you want to punch things though, let me know first and I'll show you how to do it without all the pain."

As Xander was listening to Jasmine, he then realized the reason he was there. Through his injury and their encounter, he had forgotten that he was there for some exercise. It was a rather nice ending to such an agonizing beginning, to meet someone with such compassion warmth his heart. "Yes, I shall. Nice to meet you Jasmine." He let out a grin and waved before making a walk to the exit.
