Hello all,
The name's Bri, or Bri-bri, whichever you prefer. It's short for Bridgette - which is what my brother's best friend has called me for years since he forgot what my actual years now. I took it and ran. So... let's see what I can say about myself... I've always loved writing, and I've been doing it since I was 10. Trust me, it's been a long time since then. As for RP-ing, I discovered it at 16 though an online grid game I was playing at the time (Bloodsucking Vampires a.k.a. Ravenblack City) and I've been at it for almost 7 years now.
My first site, outside the RBC community sites were sci-fi based. I still remember my first one - Tearless Fatal right here on Proboards. I loved it so, and I made some good friends and writing buddies there. But when it shut down I could never find another site. So I've been a drifter. But the runs on other boards I've had were nothing but good. And I'm super excited to be here, I know I'm gonna have a good run here too!
So, now that I'm not on memory lane anymore, let's share ten random facts about me. Because that's a good place to start.
- As you could tell from the title, fellow Whovian - I love Dr. Who in the worst way.
- Battlestar Galactica will always be one of my favourite series.
- My favourite read is the Lord of the Rings trilogy, closely followed by the Harry Potter series and the Chronicles of Narnia.
- I almost always root for the villains, I love unhappy endings, they're more realistic.
- As you could tell from no. 4, I am both a pessimist and a cynical little dear.
- I love vampires - and no, I do not consider anything from the Twilight Saga to be vampiric in any sort of way.
- I loathe Twilight with every fibre of my being.
- I love the horror genre the best when it comes to movies.
- My favourite character that I've ever played is called Amadeus "Maddy" Matthews, a 10 year old, superhero loving vampire child.
- I hate math.
