Name: Caitlyn Coghlan
Age: Twenty Three
Race: Human
Ethnicity: Irish
Origin:
Caitlyn's family were average sheep farmers. They had very little but their three children Gregory, Anna, and the youngest, Caitlyn. The three children helped around the farm where they could but when their parents learned about the Titan Project, they knew they had to get their youngest an interview. Gregory and Anna were past the age of acceptance, and Caitlyn had something very unique about her.
Since she was able to walk at the early age of seven months, she got into everything. She feared nothing and seemed to conquer most of her goals no matter how long or hard she struggled. She was an independent little girl and when they took her into the interview they were told not to get their hopes up. But little Caitlyn surprised the testers at age four. Her IQ wasn't outstanding like other children, but when given physical tasks it was amazing how hard the little girl would work until she had achieved it. And with such experience in her physical form most of her test were completed in amazing time.
Her parents were proud the night they put her onto the ship for Cryo freeze, she had turned five already and can remember her mother, father, older sister... but mostly her brother.. saying goodbye to her. Out of all the family Caitlyn had been her brother's shadow for years. If he climbed a tree, she climbed the tree. If he was out herding sheep, you could bet she was right behind him trying to copy him.
With one final hug she laid back in the chamber.. and dreamed of how it would have been if they could have all come with her.
Personality:
A tough young woman born from a very strong Catholic Irish background, Caitlyn is a stern and independent woman. She believes in the chain of command, has a high respect for those who outrank her. She's very hard working, with a deep of her ancestry with all things Irish. If she's not in the gym working on her hand to hand combat, you can find her at the firing range improving on her hand gun skills. If in neither of these places it's easy to find her in the ship's agriculture area.
If there is one thing she absolutely loves, it's an Irish tale. She will often take books and go into the farm land to lay in the grass with the sheep. She still has a few memories of her home in Ireland and something about the area has always made her feel more at home, so much so that sometimes she will even sleep there instead of her own quarters. She is at home with Terra.
Appearance:
Caitlyn stand a little tall at 5'7", her build is athletic with strong arms and legs. Her blond hair flows to the mid of her back but is usually tied up tightly. Her eyes are a startling bright pale blue, and her skin is very fair.
Role Play Sample:
Slipping off her shoes and socks, Caitlyn carefully placed her foot onto the grass and wiggled her toes a little at the feeling. Her startling blue eyes rose slowly to look around at the sheep that were walking around and grazing. They didn't seem to pay her any mind as she stood now barefoot in their grass. She made sure to pick up the shoes and socks, not wanting to leave them behind for some curious animal to nibble at.
Here... she felt at home. The sounds of the animals calling out settled her after such chaos made all of her worries evaporate, and as her blue eyes closed the strange planet they were on vanished and she slowly recalled... Earth. Green pastures.. the feel of the grass on her toes.. and the way the wind would catch her and almost knock her over. A faint smile spread on her pale pink lips... till she felt a hard nudge.
She opened them, knowing there was no danger here in the pastures. And there in front of her was a sheep. She smirked a bit but the creature bumped here again with the top of its head right into her thigh. "And jus' what do ya think ya'r doin'?" she smirked a bit, her hand reached down to gently pet his head and the sheep seemed content to enjoy this. Before she knew it an hour had passed with just her petting the sheep and the sun was starting to dip beyond sight. "I suppose I could jus' sleep here.." she mumbled in thought and gave the sheep a final pat on the head before going to grab her bag. She wasn't too surprised when the sheep followed after her, a few others following that one as well. She chose a clean part of grass and laid out a sleeping bag for camping from her gear and settled onto it.
The sheep stared strangely at her for a while before turning to nibble on grass.. except the one from before. It settled gently beside her to rest as well, and Caitlyn's eyes softened a bit. "I think I'll be callin' ya Gregory.." she whispered softly as she laid back on the sleep bag, her hand return to his head as her eyes closed. "I miss ya, brother... but I know ya be watchin' me from tha Heavens jus' as you promised me."
