Leaving and coming back, not leaving at all... really, it was all the same, in a way, in the most important point: he wasn't staying out.
Far, far too good of an opportunity to see new things and (eventually, maybe) figure out what they all were. There were already bits and pieces of the language these strange, fur- and scale-less folks used. He had some vague idea what to do to control the lights in a given 'room' of this 'Hyperion' place, for all that mattered when he had fair night vision (it did, frankly, considering how easily it could get pitch black, he'd found). And their strange, cushiony beds, and their strange but fairly good food, and their... er...
...lack of anything much to tell him where he actually was or was going, so far as he could see...
That was... probably a problem, to some degree. He'd mostly evaded people around, since he didn't want to be dragged out or anything, but he could always possibly track down Cat, or maybe JD, if he tried. It... wouldn't be easy with those weird rooms he'd probably have to use to go up and down, but he could do it, he was certain. He wasn't sure he wanted to, but he could.
Never mind that, then; he'd just continue on and see whatever he might find this time. There seemed no better plan right now.
So the so-called 'Creai', the 'runt' of the bunch that had otherwise since left and left him on his own (by his own doing, granted) shortly after the Hyperion had come down from the sky merely wandered, without any aim in mind and any reason to have an aim since he'd just get lost again on the way regardless. That much, at least, he was well aware of, and now... this. That was... a lot of strange, slightly glowing stuff along the walls, that much was for sure. And odd patterning on a lot of it, and odd little whatevers people presumably sat at and did things on, with pictures that he was certain weren't actually in the things...
...though he did have to shake one around slightly to make sure, confirming that indeed, nothing inside moved slightly. Must've been similar to the image that 'camera' could bring up.
Scratching a little at the back of his head in confusion, he flopped down into a seat at one of those little spaces... or... tried, at any rate. The seat didn't seem to agree with the notion and flipped noisily out from under him just to leave him falling flat on his back on the ground. As if to add further insult, the seat itself lazily tilted until it fell lightly onto him. Well, this wasn't going well so far... not that that was anything particularly new.
