It had been a crazy start of the colony, with all the confusion, it made setting up her meeting with her people difficult. Way too difficult than it should have been. Waking up at this age; not really ready for their duty, or were they. Jen wasn’t sure whether it was a good idea to continue on at this point, or if they ought to try and get back into the pods, after they got the ship up and running. But they would cross that bridge when they came to it. Brown eyes start at her small consoles display, set upon the table of the Armed Forces and Security Affairs room.
With all the colonists settled; somewhat awoken and starting to remember what they were trained for, Jenny had been already to meet with her people. She had requested to Jet that he let any of them that he saw know that after they were finished helping the colonists, that they should head here.
When the soldiers started walking in, Jenny would look from her console, pushing herself from her seat, and moving to greet them, hand extended toward them, thoughts of the person entering her mind. She knew a small bit of where they came from. Jen was confused at this, but wouldn't say anything. It would be creepy for them to know their commanding officer knew private things about them, wouldn't it.

Awakening from her stasis, she somehow knew something was wrong. A few people were panicking, but she was doing her best to stay calm. Trying to figure out who and what she was, was a lot simpler then she thought it would of been. She was a soldier, part of something called the Titan Project. She even knew her name, Rebekah, though no one ever called her it before. Looking around she realized why she knew that stuff. The stasis must of been pumping the information to her in her sleep. Training her, getting ready for what lay ahead. There in lay the problem, she wasn't yet fully ready, the stasis was cut short. Rebekah took a deep breath for the first time and coughed loudly, her lungs not use to such actions yet.
She spotted a locker with her name on it and opened it, seeing her uniforms and boots. Quickly getting dressed so she didn't end up running around the ship naked. She knew one thing now, pushing her past aside, pushing the thoughts of what is yet to come out of her mind, she had to do one thing. That was find her CO, her commanding officer. Everything inside her told her to do this, that people running around confused wasn't gonna help any and that organization was the best course of action. She did not care where they are or what went wrong, all she cared about now was protecting the rest of the crew and figuring out what they should do to ensure their survival. She was a soldier and it was time to fight.
Stumbling out of her stasis pod she looked around, deep down the fear was there, were they being attacked, she had no weapon to defend herself if they were. A few panicked people here and there, and a few dazed and confused people told her that everyone seemed to be ok, younger then they should be, but alive and well. Walking around the ship, something told her to speak to EOS. Though she had no idea who it was. "EOS, where is my CO?" She asked him... her... it. A voice spoke and told her the location she should head. She just hoped her CO was not an ice cube still, as everyone seemed to be waking up at different times.
Rebekah entered the room that the computer AI known as EOS told her to go to in order to find her CO. She didn't know that much about the person she was meeting, she knew she was her CO and her name was Jennifer Smith. "Commander Smith." Rebekah said saluting her and waiting for her orders.

Jennifer Smith's attention snapped to the female officer, that stood before her, her eyes observing her, mind wondering who she was few a moment, before it came to her. Rebekah McClain, a soldier. One of Jen's soldiers. She had heard that quite a few of her people were awake, and even though she knew this woman in her mind; she never actually met her. Smile formed upon her face, as she said, "No need for formalities for now, McClain," as she lifted her hand to her head, and touched the pointer finger to her forehead, "It's a hell of a wake up call."
But there was a feeling that Jenny hadn't anticipated, when meeting any of her people. Her face felt kind of flushed, and tingles ran around her body; as she finished looking over the soldier. What was she feeling? Was she sick? Maybe the act of waking up to early was enough to infect them with a virus. Or it could be possible that their immune systems could be underdeveloped. The Commander resigned herself to heading the the Medical Unit after she spoke and met with her men and women afterwards. For now, she would contend to shush the the desire to have Rebekah to touch her chest. That would be weird to do to commanding officer, right?
"Yes ma'am. What is the status of the ship?" Rebekah asked, relaxing her body. She looked at her face, studying her commanding officer and for some reason Rebekah began to feel a little uncomfortable. But for some reason she liked it none the less. "Is everything alright ma'am?" Rebekah asked, wondering if maybe her commanding officer felt sick or something. Maybe she needed to lay down and relax a bit. She wondered if it had anything to do with being woken to early?
She watched as Commander Smith finished checking her out, but she thought it might be because she wanted to make sure her soldiers were in tip top fighting condition and not slobs. But then her face got bright red and her eyes lingered on Rebekah's chest a little to long. Rebekah felt herself blush as this happened and she wanted to get away from her commanding officer, but part of her felt flattered that she seemed to be checking her out.
Having grown up basically in a tube, Rebekah didn't know yet what she wanted, she knew she wanted love, even this early a part of her wanted to find someone to be with while exploring this planet and making sure it was safe for them. But she didn't know what it meant, to be with someone to love them. The computer didn't teach her that, didn't teach her how to react to someone thinking she was attractive. She had no experience with social interactions in general, let alone interactions like this.
Rebekah cleared her throat. "Do you need to go to the Medical Unit ma'am?" Rebekah asked, hoping laying down would be the solution.

The commander realized something was a miss, before she shook her head, an attempt to shake those feelings away. Yes, she was definitely going to need to speak to someone about them. But, as the moment, she had more important things to do. Letting her soldiers know what her plans were. "Oh yes, I plan on visiting..." her voice trailed, her mind fishing for the names she needed, "...Miss Rahael and Miss Markus after I speak with everyone. Anyway, I'm setting the team on assisting security, until we're ready to move on to the next stage of the plan; which is reconnaissance of the planet.I actually would like to get some outposts up, about five clicks away from the ship."
"I am sure it has something to do with the waking up process. Its probably normal." Rebekah said, trying to reassure her CO, placing her hand on the other girls shoulder looking her in the eyes with a smile. She forgot for a moment that Jennifer Smith was her commanding officer and that she probably should touch her and pulled away. "Sorry, I guess my training isn't fully complete. I shouldn't touch my Commanding Officer." She said hoping she wasn't mad, she was still getting use to the world she had been thrust into.
"I hope you feel better." She added, then when she talked about plans, Rebekah smiled, she was eager to get some field work in. "Count me in, I need to see what this body can do." Rebekah said with a smile, flexing her arms a bit. "Whatever you need, I am your girl." She spoke to her, hoping that being completely cooperative will make up for the fact of the little mishap that happened earlier when she touched her CO's arm and probably angered her, last thing she needed was a CO that hated her on her first day awake.
Edik moved through the ship slowly with the pistol, in its holster, that he had received from the Armory when he was with Captain Jasten and Althaia after the three of them had awoken. He had already gone to the lower levels that had breeches and were registering as malfunctions on the sensors to see if there was anyone or anything down there. He had confirmed the pods there were lost due to mechanical failures and that there weren’t any intruders in the area. The Security team he had with him were securing the area and keeping other colonists from going into that section of the ship.
His breathing was somewhat slowed as he slowly pushed through the crowds of new settlers making his way to the armory under the orders of his CO. He had seen his first dead bodies, some of them looked as if they were still asleep, others however had been mangled and didn’t even look human anymore. It wasn’t the fact he had seen this, it was that he almost just shrugged it off as an accident that bothered him. Surely if anyone else had seen that room they would have needed a psycho-analysis afterwards, however he was perfectly okay with it. He rubbed his forehead with his hand as he entered the Armory.
He came to attention and saluted Commander Smith. It was then he noticed there seemed to be an awkward scene between Commander Smith and Corporal McClain. Edik just brushed it off as everyone just getting acquainted. He felt the same when he awoke and met Althaia and Jasten as he knew their names but he had actually never met them. “First Sergeant Edik Demidov, Weapons Specialist reporting ma’am. Lower levels are secure however the crew members there were lost during their landing when their life support and stasis pods malfunctioned. Teams are currently securing the area ensuring no one else enters that section without authorization.”
Edik delivered the grim news up front, regardless of how it affected the room. In here were soldiers and every one of them knew they were supposed to be prepared take a life at any second. If it came to it, they would even give their own lives for the defense of this colony. If they were squeamish or shy of seeing blood, Edik was sure that Commander Smith would have no use for them and probably have them removed from their post.

Jenny nodded, glancing at the hand at her shoulder. It was actually okay, just a little sickness, she guessed, but thought her soldier's compassion toward her was alright. She smiled, adding another nod, before she returned to the console she had set up. Her right hand lifted to her blonde hair; which was pulled tightly back in a ponytail. Her mouth had opened, about to say something, before her gaze caught sight of the weapons specialist, who had made a salute, and reported to her. The saluted was halt returned, half waved away, as she replied, "Excellent. Should I be looking for a report on what's down there...I will understand if you wish not to disclose it."
Jenny paused, considering the position they were all in; merely children taking on roles for people that were much older, and added, "I won't mind if you need to tell me to get stuffed--in fact," she glanced between the Corporal and the Sergeant, "If anyone is at all uncomfortable with filling in a report, I'm fine with being told to take a look for myself."
Rebekah remained quiet as she watched her commander, wanting to say something else to her, having no idea what to even say. She opened her mouth to ask her something but was cut off when Weapons Specialist Edik came in and she instantly shut her mouth, moving to the side to let them talk. She felt really sad for some reason that the people on the lower levels were lost. She didn't know why, she didn't even know any of them, or who any of them were. Still it saddened her though she kept it from showing on her face.
She kept quiet as she had nothing to add to the conversation. Rebekah shrugged at her comments about filing a report. She didn't mind it, at times it would give her a break from the field work and give her some time to think. "It doesn't bother me in the least, ma'am." Rebekah said, wishing that she could ask the question that was on her mind earlier, but looking at Edik, she knew it would be an inappropriate conversation to have with her CO in front of him. "Ma'am, if you don't need me right now, permission to go to my barrack to make sure everything is in ship shape?" Rebekah asked her. "Maybe we can talk in private later if you have the time?" Rebekah asked

Jennifer glanced to the soldier, eyes observing that body of hers, unsure why it was so...what was the word? Jen was at a loss with that aspect. Her he shook, up and down, before she replied, "As you wish, Corporal," her head shifted between the two, as she added, "I want everyone to maintain a healthy routine in the mornings, unless there's a mission. Twenty pushups, squats, and laps. Exceed that amount if you want, that's the minimum. And McClain, make your way to the armory sometime soon, and strap yourself with a sidearm."
